Isabella Flewellen
Isabella’s love for dance is apparent. Dancing down the aisles of Walmart and Target and practicing turning in her bedroom until most of her socks had holes, her infatuation with dance grew into a talent! Isabella has been dancing since the Spring of 2009. She danced for competitive studios in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and ballet, dancing with CITA concurrently for the last few years of her high school career. She has focused on CITA since the Spring of 2017, and has found a restored and flourishing love for classical and performance ballet! She was honored and blessed to be sponsored by CITA, and was able to be certified through Ballet Magnificat!’s Summer Teacher Training Intensive in the Summer of 2024! From dancing before the throne of God and sharing the Good News, Isabella has seen God work in her and through her.
Master Teachers from across the country and globe, including Jiri Vobrosky, Lillian Ortiz, Twitch, and Jeff Lapes, are just a small fraction of the dance instructors that her technique has been exposed to. Being taught by those with more experience, has humbled her and instilled the mindset that to be a good teacher, she must also be a good student.
When she is not dancing, she studies at LCU, plays with her dogs, enjoys quality time with family and friends, and loves a good meal of the Lord’s Chicken (aka Chick-fil-A). The competitive side of Isabella loves to compete in the Miss USA circuit of Pageants!
Isabella loves to worship the Lord through dance. She looks forward to sharing her passion of worship to all Christ in the Arts students and their families!
“This is the day that the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” -Psalms 118:24
